What We Actually Cover

Six sessions spread over three months. Each one builds on the previous, but we adjust based on what participants are struggling with. This isn't a rigid curriculum—it's a framework that responds to real challenges.

Sessions run on Saturday mornings because most of our past participants couldn't commit to weeknight classes. You'll work with the same small group throughout, which helps with accountability.

Session One

Finding Your Baseline

Most people guess at their spending. We spend two hours tracking where money actually goes and identifying patterns you haven't noticed. Bring three months of bank statements—we'll walk through them together.

Duration: 2 hours

Session Two

Building a Flexible Framework

Creating budget categories that actually make sense for your life. We'll look at fixed expenses, variable costs, and that uncomfortable category of "things you're avoiding thinking about."

Duration: 2.5 hours

Session Three

Handling Income Variability

For freelancers, commission-based workers, or anyone whose paycheck changes monthly. Strategies for budgeting when you can't predict next month's income with certainty.

Duration: 2 hours

Session Four

Dealing with Financial Surprises

Car repairs, medical bills, and other things that destroy perfect budgets. Building systems that accommodate unexpected expenses without derailing everything else.

Duration: 2 hours

Session Five

Adjusting When Life Changes

Your budget shouldn't be static. How to revise your approach when circumstances shift—new job, growing family, changing goals. Making it sustainable long-term.

Duration: 2 hours

Session Six

Three-Month Review

Looking back at what worked and what didn't. Participants share their experiences and we troubleshoot persistent challenges. You'll leave with a personalized plan for the next quarter.

Duration: 2.5 hours

Upcoming Workshop Dates
